Project Pharus Lucis (PPL) is a team of Year 2 students from St Andrew’s Junior College (SAJC), which aims to raise awareness of the current Yemen crisis, and support humanitarian initiatives that alleviate the suffering among Yemeni civilians. Even before Yemen’s civil war began in 2015, the country was already the most vulnerable Middle Eastern state. According to the UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency), Yemen remains one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. PPL is collaborating with RSG to support our response to the crisis, particularly in the area of EDUCATION. PPL is committed to be a recurring initiative that is endorsed by SAJC, in order to provide sustainability and longevity to the humanitarian support envisioned by its original founders.
